Powered Respirators (PAPR) & Air Fed Masks
A powered respirator takes the effort out of staying protected. Instead of your lungs drawing air through a filter with every breath, a battery-powered blower pulls air through the filters for you and feeds a steady flow of clean air into the mask or hood. Also known as a PAPR (powered air-purifying respirator) or an air-fed respirator, it makes breathing easier, reduces fatigue, and provides a cooler, more comfortable fit throughout a full shift, which is why workers choose them for longer, more demanding tasks than a standard mask can handle.
