IntroductionThis is a theoretical and practical training course which is suitable for locations of minimal volume with adequate natural ventilation, simple access and egress and no risk of rising fluids

Site specific risk assessment & use of pre-entry survey form
Use of the safe system of work & rescue plan
Role of the entrant and the safety attendant
Awareness of Lockout/Tagout & acceptance of the permit to work
Gas hazards, selection, inspection and use of a gas detector
Ventilation methods & overview of ventilation equipment
Assessed entry into a low risk confined space
Entry requirementsPROSPECTIVE DELEGATES MUST HAVE TOTAL FLUENCY AT BOTH SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND BE CAPABLE OF GENERATING AUDITABLE DOCUMENTS IN ENGLISH
Assessment methodAssessment will be carried out via online written exam at the end of each module PLUS the completion of a scenario based exercise which will be assessed during the training session
