The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 place duties on employers, the self-employed and employees to prevent danger from electricity at work. They cover the condition of electrical systems, the competence of the people working on them, and the precautions taken when working on or near live conductors.
