Rotary Switch Hinged Cover

A hinged cover fits over a rotary switch or push button to prevent access while maintenance or servicing is carried out. Closed and padlocked, it prevents the control from being operated and gives a clear visual signal that the equipment is under isolation.

Designed to fit 22.5mm and 30.5mm diameter switches, the cover accommodates controls up to 40mm in diameter and 44mm tall. Manufactured from durable, clear polycarbonate, both the base and cover allow switch positions, nameplates and labels to remain visible.

The cover is secured in place by the existing rotary or push button switch bezel, so it remains attached to the panel rather than being removed and potentially misplaced. Its hinged design allows the cover to be lifted for normal operation when unlocked, while preventing accidental or unauthorised operation when secured with a padlock. It accepts padlock shackles up to 7mm in diameter.

Typical applications include rotary isolators on machinery, control panel switches in shared plant rooms, push button controls and any switch where operation by the wrong person at the wrong moment would create a hazard.

This is a Master Lock product. Padlocks are ordered separately so you can keep the whole isolation scheme on one keying system.
