Padlockable inserts for use with Redspot™
Pulling a fuse leaves two problems: the circuit can be re-energised by anyone with a spare fuse, and the open connections are left exposed.
This padlockable insert solves both. Designed for use with Redspot 20 Amp fuse holders, it drops into the space the fuse came out of, blanking off the open connections while locking the holder off so the fuse cannot be replaced.
Use it with a 3mm diameter shackle padlock, our S20K, to secure the isolation as part of a lockout tagout procedure.
Suited to distribution boards and control panels using Redspot fuse carriers, where fuse removal is the isolation method and that isolation needs to be provably secure rather than simply assumed.
