Domestic 3 Pin Plug Lockout Device for Electrical Isolation

This lockout device encloses the plug on a corded appliance so it cannot be pushed back into a socket and re-energised while work is in progress. It is the simple answer to portable equipment, which is easy to isolate by unplugging and just as easy for someone to plug back in without knowing why it was unplugged.

The compact universal design accommodates most 220 to 240 volt plugs, so one device covers the majority of corded equipment on a typical site rather than needing a different fitting for each appliance.

Made from nylon for strength and durability, it fits quickly with no tools and is secured with a padlock. Once locked, the plug stays inside the device and the equipment stays dead.

Typical uses are portable tools and appliances removed from service, equipment awaiting repair, and any corded item that has to be positively isolated during a lockout tagout procedure rather than simply unplugged and hoped for.
