Safety lockout hasps allow multiple padlocks to be used when isolating one
energy source. The lockout hasp is placed through the isolating point and
each person carrying out maintenance or service work attaches and locks in
place their own unique individually keyed padlock through the lockout hasp.
This ensures each worker's safety as the energy cannot be restored until the
work is finished and all padlocks have been removed. We offer as standard 10
types of lockout hasps.
MLH1 Stainless Steel
Manufactured from 316 stainless steel with a bright, durable nickel
plated finish. Ideal for use in all industrial environments. Hasp
clearance 40mm high x 25mm wide, hasp diameter 5mm. Accepts padlocks
with shackles upto 8mm
diameter
Manufactured from
1.5mm steel with a yellow powder coated finish, this captive hasp offers a
new concept in locking off. Unlike conventional lockout hasps which locate
directly onto the isolator this new captive hasp locks onto the first
padlock (usually the controller's padlock) which is already locking the
isolator in the "OFF" position. When the captive hasp is in place, all
workers place their personal padlocks through the captive hasp which blocks
access to the controller's padlock making it
impossible for the
controller to remove his/her padlock until all the work is completed and all
the padlocks removed from the captive hasp. Accepts padlock with a shackle
diameter up to 7mm.
Ideal for use on long
term isolations where shift patterns operate.
Also offers a
wider range of applications as a captive hasp will fit wherever a
padlock will (up to a 38mm x 38mm body)
MLH9 Nonconductive Lockout Hasp
Manufactured
from strong rigid red plastic this lockout hasp has excellent
electrical insulating characteristics and is highly resistant to
cracking and most chemicals. Suitable for lockout applications with a
minimum hole diameter of 10mm. Accepts padlocks with
a shackle diameter up to 9mm.
